“Ten Years and Counting!”

Crystal Dorn recently celebrated her Ten (10) Year Anniversary with ComForCare Home Care and Just Like Home Adult Day Center.

In 2015, Crystal began as our receptionist.  Since then, Crystal has done a little bit of everything in our office, but her most current role is our Billing and Payroll Specialist.

Dave (owner) said, “Crystal is a very important part of our success.  In her time with us she has done a little bit of everything.  We call her our Jane of all trades!”

Dave added, “I can’t believe it has been 10 years.  We have accomplished so many things, and Lisa and I recognize that Crystal has been an important part of that.  For all of her work we thank her..”

“4th Annual Judy Phillips Memorial Award Dinner”

Earlier this month Dave and Lisa (Just Like Home Adult Day Center) attended the 4th Annual Judy Phillips Memorial “Influencers in Aging” Award Dinner presented by Interfaith Caregivers of Washington County.  Just Like Home Adult Day Center was nominated for the memorial award.

Although not selected as the winners, Dave and Lisa, and the Just Like Home staff received many complimentary letters from our valued clients and families’ for the atmosphere we offer, and the care we provide.

Just Like Home Adult Day Center received the inaugural award in 2022, and to be nominated again is an honor and speaks to the GREAT care our staff provides.

NOTE:  Judy Phillips was the founder of Gericare, Inc, in Washington County, and dedicated her life to championing the needs and dignity of seniors.  She passed away in 2020, and in honor of her memory, the Influencers in Aging awards were established to honor her legacy by recognizing individuals whose work reflects the same passion, creativity, and impact that Judy exemplified.
